Are you looking for a place to hold a community meeting, theatrical performance, potluck dinner, birthday party, or other event? If so, you may be interested in renting space at First Church Somerville!
We’ve also hosted birthday parties for children and adults, holiday parties, pancake breakfast and spaghetti supper fundraisers, music lessons, and numerous other events organized by our members, friends, and neighbors.
Our building is also wheelchair accessible, with a ramp outside our Francesca Avenue entrance, a small elevator between our first and second floors, and a large unisex bathroom on our ground floor.

Our building rental packet also includes an application form and insurance waiver, which must be completed and returned to our Church Administrator and Building Supervisor, Carol Luongo, to reserve your space. Once your application has been received, Carol will add your event to our calendar and contact you to confirm your reservation.
If you would like to schedule an appointment to tour our building in person, please contact Ed. He works part-time and is in the church office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 -3:30 or 4, and is always happy to meet with current and prospective tenants and answer any questions you may have.
Please also note that, due to life-threatening allergies of some of our members, First Church Somerville has implemented a nut-free policy. All tenants and visitors to our building are asked to abide by this policy and refrain from bringing nuts and nut products (including sesame) into our building. Thank you!
