Community Hour

 

Our weekly community hour takes place on Wednesdays from 8:30-9:30 AM at Kickstand Cafe, 594 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA. Check out our calendar or email office@firstchurchsomerville.org for more information.

Youth Group

We have a Tween and Teen Youth Group which meet up to twice a month for fun, fellowship, and faith. Recent activities have included Thrift Shop Gift Exchange, Christmas Cookie Baking, and a trip to the movies.

Retreats

All-Church Retreat happens annually. Past retreat themes have included: The Ignatian Examen, The Sabbath, The Art of Blessing, and Breaking Open. Newbies and veterans come, singles and families with kids come—attendance is as diverse as worship! Some things we especially love to do on retreat: play board games, drink cocoa, make art, share Communion, and sing and play music by the fireplace.
